In 1999 and 2000, I wrote two games as Java applets – AI Pengo and 3d Stereogram Pong. Browsers dropped support for Java ten years ago, so they haven't been playable for a long time. But today, I discovered the CheerpJ Applet Runner extension (available for Chrome and Edge web browsers), repackaged the games as .jar files, and now they can be played again by anyone who installs the extension, adds it to their browser's toolbar, and enables it for my domain.
